Hi! My name is Grace Guthart, I am a 4th-year Marine Biology student at Scripps Institution of Oceanography at UC San Diego. Originally from New York City, I joined the lab in spring 2024 as a volunteer and upon graduation will be leading day to day operations of our Urchin Mariculture Systems for NSURC. I focus on the health and welfare of our sea urchins and their aquaculture systems. I love working with aquatic animals and am passionate about San Diego's local marine conservation.

In my free time, I like to work on my ceramics and be in the ocean as much as possible!
