Hi! My name is Ryan O’Hara, and I'm a postbacc student in the Hamdoun lab. My current work is focused on the development of computer vision-based approaches to perform automated behavioral assays at all stages of L. pictus’ lifespan. I hope to use these novel tools to answer questions about the relationship between the external environment and neuronal development.

In my free time, I like to read, write, compete in triathlons, and volunteer with San Diego’s search and rescue corps.
